I don't know why, but Mattie is a little bit afraid of the piano. I'll hit a key, and he'll look at the piano, then give me a look of uncertainty. He'll try to hit a key himself, and if it makes noise (sometimes he doesn't hit hard enough) he will crawl onto my lap like he doesn't know what is happening. I don't always understand why he is afraid of things. About two months ago he was afraid of wind chimes for about two weeks, now they don't bother him at all.

Sorry about the spelling in Play.
Hi sis,
Random factoid: I learned in a child development class that it is easier for children to gain an "ear" for music when exposed to it at a young age. So, it's good that he's interested in the guitar and piano (even if timidly). Perhaps he'll escape the Meckstroth Curse ;)
That's interesting Ann! Hopefully he will escape the Curse!
well his daddy is musically talented--so i think he'll be too :)
Piano lessons provide good training for typing on a PC keyboard!
