Mattie is doing as well as can be expected after surgery. He slept well last night, most likely due to all the pain medicine and the ordeal of the whole day. You can tell he is sore because he doesn't really move, he just lays there and wimpers ocassionally, it breaks my heart. I propped him on his boppy and he watched his Baby Einstein DVD, and he is pretty much going to hang out and relax today. If I could go through this for him I would in a heartbeat. My poor little bean.

Oh Christy, I'm so glad everything went okay! We'll be doing the same thing on June 8th with Cosette. I would take her place instantly too. Give him extra kisses from all of us!
