1000 Islands

Matthew went out of the country for the first time today! (well, sort of) Matt, Great Nana, Nana, Papa, Matthew and I went to Alexandria Bay today, and had a lot of fun. We went on a boat tour (Matthew's first time on a boat) of the 1000 Islands, and part of the tour was in Canada. He actually slept for pretty much the entire tour, which was a hour long, but everyone else enjoyed it. He was so tired from such an exciting day that he went to bed as soon as we got home.

Matthew has become obsessed with his little chair! He will sit in it in any way possible and play with the light and the clock, all while talking to himself. It's very cute and amusing!

Hello :)

Matthew loves to be pulled around in his Lego wagon. He'll try to crawl in himself, and while you are pulling him he screams (in a good way) and laughs, and he doesn't want to get out when you stop. Oh, he also likes to play with the Legos that came in the wagon. :)

Mommy's Maid

Yeah! He's finally old enough to help me around the house! :)

"Mom, it's my walking stick, of course it isn't dangerous for me to play with!"

"Hmm...what should I do with my car?"

"Maybe I'll put in in Jazzy and BB's cage...."

"Wait, I've got it! I know exactly where I want to put it!"

"On the ledge of the fireplace, yeah, that is a good spot!"

Playing the Piano

Mattie just loves his little piano. He squats down and plays it like he is really playing a song. He will even stop to turn the little "pages" and then start playing again! He dances to his songs too, which is really just him shaking his head back and forth, but it is sooo adorable. (I know he isn't dressed here...he just had his bath)

Mattie had a relaxing day playing with Jazzy and BB. He needs a puppy of his own, right Mattie?!

Pool Time

Mattie enjoyed splashing around in his pool this afternoon. He splashed so much he practically got the whole deck wet, including Mom and Dad!

Yes, he was that tired that he actually fell asleep in his highchair during lunch!

Farewell

Goodbye Aunt Brittney! I hope you have a wonderful time in Texas, and Mommy and I both hope everything works out for the best. We wish you lots of luck on your next step/adventure in life! We will both miss you!
