This afternoon I discovered another one of Matthew's fish has been taken by the Ich ....hopefully our attempts to save the last two will succeed...

"Look Mom, it's my favorite fish friends!"

Although, I'm sad to have to report that 5 of our 8 fish have succumbed to the Ich :(

"Hmmm...this looks like a good place to lay down for a rest..."

I know, I have a ton of pictures from the museum, but there was just so much for Matthew to see/do!

"Finally, a place I can run around and touch whatever I want!"

I'm sure that's what Matthew thought when Brittney and I took him to The Children's Museum. They had a "Tot Room" with a ton of kids around his age, and lots of toys/activities for him to explore. He had so much fun!

He mostly observed when we first went to the tot room. He would stand and stare at whatever was going on, and if a child would do something like drop a toy, he would try to give it back to that child. He was so polite and didn't push or shove anyone. He waited his turn and would move out of the way if another child would try to get by. I was very impressed by his good manners.

He was in heaven when he saw the wall of giant light switches! He played here the longest, we need one in our house!

Matthew is absolutely OBSESSED with books. When he was younger he would barely sit through one book, but now he would read books all day long if it were up to him. We literally read at least 12 books for bedtime, and he will still want more. He picks the books he wants us to read, and while we read one he will listen while holding the next book he wants read. I have a lot of his books memorized by now, but I love it!

We wore Matthew out so much, he isn't used to so much excitement in one weekend. Here he is passed out on Brittney's bed.

I was soooo excited to have been able to finally take Matthew into the pool myself! He loved it, as he has every other time. Aunt Brittney and I splashed around with him, completely wore him out, but it was so much fun! He is definitely a water baby!

He was actually afraid of the fountain. After touching it the first time, he wanted nothing to do with it, he didn't even want to be in the same area as it.

We're Home!

Beanerini and I made it home safe and sound from visiting Aunt Brittney in Houston. We had lots of fun (our top two activities being The Children's Museum and the 'Fiesta' convention :) ) There will be many blog installments from our trip, maybe even a video or two.....
