Matthew has so much fun playing with bubbles during bath time. Tonight he wanted the bubbles to be confined in his boat. He would splash them around and rub the bubbles all over the tub and himself, and when the bubbles would be gone he wanted more. I must have refilled his boat with bubbles at least five times.

We loved being outside, but we had just as much fun playing inside. Dinners were always fun and it was nice to be able to help Aunt Lori celebrate her birthday. Great Grandpa enjoyed watching all of the commotion. I miss all of the noise from everyone running around and Matthew really misses playing with his cousins.

One of our favorite activities from the trip was playing outside with everyone. Whether it was playing with chalk, blowing bubbles, looking for airplanes, or just running around the yard, it was neat to see the kids interact with each other. The weather was beautiful, which made it so hard to stay inside to play. Matthew would have stayed outside the whole time had it been up to him. He really looked up to Josh. If Josh would do something (i.e. play catch or run around with the dog) Matthew would try to imitate him, it was fascinating to watch.
