It has been awhile since Matthew has gone fishing and he has been asking to go, so we took him this evening. The weather was perfect and it was so relaxing to get out and be around the peaceful water. No one caught a fish, but it was still fun to get out there.

Meet Lily
This is Lily, the newest member of our little family. She is a 3 and 1/2 month old Italian Greyhound that we saw and had to save. Matt has become very attached to her already and treats her like his little princess. She is such a cuddly dog and is wonderful with Matthew, who is in complete awe of her. She already brings such joy to our lives and we have only had her with us for a few hours!

Alexandria Bay
We all had a good time spending the day at Alexandria Bay. Matthew enjoyed the boat ride and walking around looking at all of the quaint shops. He was even a trooper posing for all of the pictures we took. He took a liking to Shannon....whom he referred to as "Shamoo"-thankfully she thought it was cute and not offensive :).
A. Bay....Boldt Castle
Matt's Aunt Linda, Uncle David, and Cousin Shannon are in town visiting for the week and yesterday we all went up to Alexandria Bay (a.k.a. 1000 Islands). There are a ton of beautiful castles/homes on a bunch of little islands and we were able to tour one of the biggest castles-Boldt Castle. It's on it's own island and has several different buildings (a yacht house, kid's playhouse, electricity house, etc.). The grounds are so beautiful and the castle is gorgeous. It was never finished because the guy was building it for his wife, but his wife died and he stopped all construction on it. We all enjoyed touring the castle and wondering on the grounds.

Bean #2
So, now that everyone knows, I can blog about Bean #2. Yes, Matthew is going to be a big brother! I'm ten weeks right now, my due date is Feb. 9. The baby is healthy and everything is going smoothly so far. Matthew doesn't really understand what is going on, at first when I would ask him where the new baby is he would point to my stomach, but that has turned into him pointing to his stomach. It's a big concept for a 2-year old to grasp, especially since I'm not showing yet. I think Matthew is going to make an awesome big brother :). I have been feeling pretty well, I do get sick in the evenings, but nothing major. I am also exhausted all the time and the moodiness I had during my first pregnancy has definitely returned, but other than that I would say that this is another easy pregnancy so far...I just hope it continues that way!
(I would've just scanned the sono pictures into the computer, however, Matt has yet to hook up our printer/scanner, so I had to make do with taking a picture of the pictures.)
