Matthew dressed up as a Pirate for Halloween, and I have to say, I think he was the cutest pirate I have ever seen :).
Before we met up with Sam and Billy for trick-or-treating, we stopped by Papa and Nana's house. Fortune Teller Nana read his fortune from a crystal ball-she predicted he would get a lot of candy.
He was scared/confused by Papa's mask. When he first saw it on him he got upset, but once he realized it was just Papa he was more interested and wouldn't stop looking at him.
It was a perfect night for trick-or-treating,clear and 65! I was pleasantly surprised considering it was snowing in the beginning of the week.
Matthew was very polite when it came to the candy. He would wait his turn and then only pick out one piece, even if they insisted he have more than one, and he would always say 'thank you'. If someone was dressed up or there were decorations out he would say "That's spooky".
Sam and Billy made sure they showed Matthew the ropes.
"Hmm...look at all this candy...where should I begin?" 
"Please Mom, just let me eat it all before bedtime!"
Candy, candy, candy!
