These are just some random pictures of our first week at home with Meredith. Matthew loves to give her hugs and kisses, as he was trying to do here while she was in her pack-n-play. This was from when she first came home from the hospital.
The bean always wants to hold her, it's cute, and she is calm and likes to be held by her big brother. He is holding her for the first time at home here. He had a cold and his lip got super chapped, which is why it looks all red.

Matthew wanted to hold her again first thing after he woke up. 
On Wednesday she had her first doctor's appointment to check weight and jaundice-both which were fine. Her weight went down to 6 lbs 7 oz, but she is already almost back up to her birth weight.
Being a big brother is hard work! Matthew completely passed out on the chair after a full day of playing with Meredith and fulfilling his brotherly duties :)

She is so much more alert everyday, it's amazing to see the changes that happen just from day to day.
Can you tell I'm completely exhausted?! (But in a good way)

I'm laughing at that first photo in the series b/c of that little dog nose sneaking into the frame. We have that same problem with many of our photos and it looks like the exact same dog nose!
Jaundice? Did she have liver problems? Is it normal to drop weight?
She is sooo cute and tiny. Where is that dark hair from? ;)
They just do a jaundice check as a precaution, she never did have problems with her liver. It is very normal to drop weight after being born. Lori, it is funny how much alike Lily and Suzi are. :)
