So, here are some random pics from our week. Matthew is becoming more and more attached to his little sister and he likes to take care of her. He wanted her in his bed one day and then covered her up with blankets so she wouldn't be cold, so sweet!

He then thought it would be fun to "sleep" in her bed.

I still can't capture her smile on camera-one day soon hopefully :)
Another day he wanted her in her crib with him so he could lay down with her again.

Matt's friend, Matt, was here for the weekend and Matthew had fun showing him his cool sippy cup with his name on it.

He then had a blast playing ball with them-the 3 Matts!

Meredith Marie is 6 weeks old today-my goodness! Her personality is really starting to show and she even smiled for the first time today (and second, and third, and fourth etc :) ) which of course I couldn't capture on camera. Matthew got a kick out of trying to make her smile and also wanted to make sure he showed me plenty that he could smile big as well, we had lots of fun today :)

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

I found it amusing that I dressed both Matthew and Meredith in green today not realizing it was St. Patrick's day :) We had a nice day and were able to get out and enjoy the semi-warm, sunny weather. Matthew had a blast playing outside with Jazzy and BB while Meredith chilled in her bouncy seat and listened to all the birds and other outside noises. I taught Matthew how to play tag which we then played for awhile-he loves it! I only wish were were completely done with the cold weather.... :(

Fishing!

Yay-we are finally starting to have nice weather! Matthew went on his first fishing trip of the year this evening and he couldn't have been happier about it. Neither he nor Matt caught a fish but it was more about the act of fishing than actually catching a fish. Matthew can't wait for his next fishing outing.

I really cannot believe that Meredith will be 5 weeks old on Monday-where has the time gone?!

Happy Birthday Great Nana! We went over to celebrate her 81 birthday today.

Matthew is such a good shot-of course, it's hard to miss when you get right up on the target :)

It's Dancing Time!

Matthew and I love to "dance" to silly songs, like the "Peanut Butter Jelly Time" song. It's a great way to get out pent up energy from being trapped in the house all day. Even Meredith likes to dance with us-I hold her while I dance. She also enjoys watching us move all around. We can't wait for the warm weather to come so we can get out of the house more!

Grass Man

When Grammy came to visit she gave Matthew a "grass man", as he likes to call it, to water and take care of. He loved when the "hair" started to grow and enjoys giving him haircuts. He puts in a lot of concentration and takes it so seriously :)

Aunt Julie!

Aunt Julie left today, and we sure do miss her! Matthew looked for her first thing this morning and has asked about her several times already, he had lots and lots of fun playing with her. He loved when she showed him silly videos on YouTube, like the 'Peanut, Butter, Jelly Time' song and the 'Gummy Bear' song.

Julie has always been a natural with kids and you could really see that with her and Meredith. She always had the magic touch with her-she was great at calming her down when she was fussy.

Big Snuggle Hug!

Tickle Time!

We miss you Aunt Julie, thanks for all your help :) See you soon!
