We went to an Easter egg hunt on Saturday and also did Easter dinner-Aunt Ann had to leave early Sunday morning so we had the dinner on Saturday to include her, so it was like we had a whole "Easter Weekend", it was fun, and Matthew is at such a fun age where he really enjoys holidays. Aunt Julie was able to stop by in the morning, but sadly had to work and was unable to make it to the egg hunt or dinner.
He couldn't wait to get to the egg hunt He loved that Aunt Barb, Aunt Ann and Great Grandpa were able to share in his fun.

Meredith peeked out to see what all the commotion was, then she went right back to sleep in Grammy's arms
Such a silly little man :)
I love the pictures that have multiple generations in them, they are so neat.
The egg hunt begins!
He kept searching for eggs even after we assured him they were all found-forever the optimist :)
Showing off his treasure
Of course he had to sit down right away and inspect the eggs to see what all if his treats
He told Aunt Ann about he yummy candy he collected
Meredith slept through pretty much the entire event, but I'm sure enjoyed being out in the fresh air
Before we left Matthew got to swing on the swings with his (Great) Aunt Barb-what a treat!
Meredith's First Easter-definitely one to remember

Snuggle time with Aunt Barb
Great Grandpa trying to console his eleventh great-grandchild.
Such adorable siblings!
I was so glad Aunt Ann was able to meet her second niece-and that Meredith was able to get to know her as well.
Matthew was the first one at the table for dinner-all the egg hunting gave him an appetite

Meredith slept through most of Easter dinner-she got some later from me ;)
Relaxing with full bellies with Great Grandpa

The pic with Matthew's hand up and holding Meredith... does he not look exactly like Matt? lol --I can almost visualize Matty twirling his hair like his father. Looks like a great Easter. We missed you up here!
