The four of us went back up to Lake Canandaigua again last night to get in one more visit with The Zimm Fam. Poor Cosette fell off of the slide and ended up spending the evening at the ER with a broken arm-we feel horrible for her :(. We had a nice time hanging out with Matt Z. and other people. Matthew played baseball with the two Matt's, and I have to say, he is good! He was hitting a lot of the palls pitched to him, I was very proud of him! He fished with some of the other kids there and then ended the night playing on the swing. Meredith was ever so observant and just loved being outside watching everything. Matt, Erin, and Cosette- We miss you guys already! :)

The kids and I went on a walk the other day when it was nice out and Meredith zonked right out-she was tired! Matthew, Meredith and I really enjoy our daily walks together, it's nice to just get out and spend time in the sun.

Matt, Erin, and Cosette were in NY for a family reunion, so we took advantage and went up to Lake Canandaigua to spend some time with them. Of course it was adorable to see Matthew and Cosette interact and it was great to catch up with Matt and Erin. Matthew's favorite activity was playing in a tree house with Cosette; they even ate ice cream together in it-what fun! Matt and Matt took the kids out in the canoe-Cosette's first time in a canoe! We all had a nice evening of chatting and catching up.

Screaming, Jumping Tots

Matthew and Cosette had so much fun playing together. They decided to jump off of this wall over and over again, screaming as loud as they can the whole time. It was so cute to watch :)

Bath Time

Meredith just loves her baths now and Matthew is a big helper. He will help me wash her and entertain her, which she loves.

Happy 26th Birthday Brittney!

We celebrated Brittney's birthday today-Happy Birthday! We went to Papa and Nana's for some yummy food, tasty cake, presents, and fun times. Meredith is absolutely captivated by Great Nana, I love it! Matthew was not into having his picture taken today, but he did enjoy helping Brittney open her presents and eat birthday cake.

Memory

Matthew is the same Jumperoo when he was 8 months old. He got a huge kick out of seeing himself in the same toy that Meredith now uses :)

I can't believe Meredith is already big enough for the Jumperoo! She has so much fun when she is in it and talks up a storm. Matthew thought it was the funnest thing to play with her while she was jumping; they love each other so much :)

Afternoon Fishing

We took the kids out for the afternoon for some fishing. It turned out to be a nice day so we had to take advantage :)

Family Reunion

As you already know, we were in Poughkeepsie this past weekend for the Valencia family reunion. It was great to get together with everyone and it was cute to watch the little cousins play together. On Friday the guys golfed while the girls/kids hung out and relaxed by the pool.

Matthew and Meredith's cousin, Emmy, was a big help. She is so polite and adorable! She lives in Italy with her parents (Matt's cousins) Susan and Sean and her brother, Teven, whom Matthew really hit it off with.

The first thing Matthew noticed was the truck and he became obsessed with it. He loved to drive Teven all around the yard.

Renee was nice enough to take the kids into the pool. Matthew and Ben had fun riding the raft-although Matthew never did get the hang of the arm floats.
