Great Grandpa

The Museum of Life and Science

We went to a neat, fun museum over the weekend that had tons to see/do-we didn't even get to explore it all! Matthew loved the dinosaur trail and digging for fossils. We also enjoyed the butterfly house, the "catch the wind" trail, and the "explore the wild" trail. We can't wait to go back and discover more fun things at this museum!

S'mores!

Matthew had so much fun making s'mores with Grandpa this weekend. He thought Grandpa's little s'more maker was the neatest thing ever.

Lazy Daze

Last weekend we went to an annual art festival in Cary called Lazy Daze. It was really nice, with tons of booths and some activities for the kids-we even got Matthew fingerprinted which is always a wise thing to do. Matthew liked exploring the firetruck and Grandpa was more than happy to explain what everything was for. It was a nice way to spend the morning

Monkey Joe's

Last week Julie and I took the kids to Monkey Joe's. Matthew had so much fun the first time he went that he couldn't wait to go again. He was actually able to do most of the bouncy things by himself this time, although he liked having one of us go with him anyway-which we didn't mind because we have as much fun as he does jumping and climbing around :) Meredith loved all of the noise and commotion and eventually fell asleep in her Aunt Julie's arms-so sweet!
