Wrightsville Beach

Grammy, Grandpa, Matthew, Meredith and I went to the beach for a full day of fun yesterday. This was Matthew and Meredith's very first time to the beach, and they both thought it was great. Matthew was a little weary of the water when we first got there and preferred to play in the sand, but after a little bit decided to check out the water, as long as someone was with him, and discovered that he LOVED it, and when I say loved it, I mean he thought it was the most coolest, awesomest thing in the world! He thought the waves were the greatest and liked them to crash into him. Grandpa would help him "body surf" the waves and he had fun letting the water chase him into the beach. Meredith stood on the sand and fell asleep watching the waves come and go. We ended the day at a nice restaurant where we had the best view of the ocean from our table. It was a great way to spend the day with the kids!
