We all had a super fun Halloween night. Matthew dressed at Buzz Lightyear and Meredith was a pumpkin, which was what I was on my first Hallowen. We went to Papa and Nana's house for some pre-trick-0r-treat fun. Papa dressed as a pirate, which of course Matthew loved and Meredith was a little freaked from, and they had decorated the house with lots of spooky Halloween stuff. Matthew was very impressed with all of the stuff, but insisted that Papa turn off the scary music playing on the front porch. Apparently frightening skeleton guys don't scare Matthew one bit, but the music was just too much for him. He even asked one women to turn off her music while we were trick-or-treating,which, being as nice as she was, she actually did!
Matthew checked out all of the stuff, one of his favorites being the dancing witch.
Brittney and Aykut stopped by for a little bit and even came along for some trick-or-treating
Just starting out...thankfully it wasn't raining and wasn't too cold
He was more interested in the Halloween decorations at the houses than the candy and would ask the people why they put the scary stuff out. His favorite was a stobe light someone had put in a bedroom window.
I was surprised how many people would have Matthew get a piece of candy for his sister-I hope that many people didn't really think an 8 month old ate candy!
The Bean on the way home after a fun-filled night. His favorite treat wasn't all the candy, it was a whoopee cushion that he thinks is the funniest thing in the world!
