What a great Christmas Eve we had! Having kids makes the holidays so much more fun and jolly. Matthew was anxious all day for night time so he could open a present and then wait for Santa. He kept himself busy by playing legos with Meredith, one of her favorite things to play with of his toys.
I am so delighted when they play together-it's so adorable! 
Finally, Daddy came home from work and it was time for the traditional Christmas Eve gift
Meredith caught on quickly that when you tear the paper off there are cool toys hidden inside.
Matthew thinks the habitat for his "bugs" is super neat
Daddy has just as much fun with the bugs as Matthew.....maybe more ;)
*sigh* I can't believe it is already her first Christmas Eve 
Grammy sent Matthew some magical reindeer food. He spread it on the lawn before bedtime so when Santa's reindeer were flying and roaming the food would guide them to his home.
He spread the food one little pinch at a time all over the lawn and bushes, telling me the whole time that the reindeer would love eating the food while Santa was putting the gifts under the tree
When the kids were asleep with visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, Brittney and Aykut came over for some grown-up fun
