Random Cuteness

Matthew decided to get out Meredith's play-mat for her to explore now that she is more mobile.  There would be pictures of Matthew as well, however he asked me not to take any picuters of him today...the little stinker!

Her hair is starting to fill out, much to my delight :)

Papa and Nana's House

We had a family day on Sunday with Papa, Nana, and Great Nana.  The boys played outside in the snow while the girls stayed nice and warm inside.  We watched a movie accompanied by yummy snacks and then Papa cooked a superp dinner.  We finished the evening off with a game of Skip-Bo with Great Nana and Nana.  It was a good, relaxing day :)

Snow Fun

There is finally enough snow on the ground to really play around with.  Although, it's so cold that you can only be out for so long before you're absolutely freezing, even all bundled up.  Matt and Matthew stayed out as long as they could stand it and had a blast being goofballs.

Super Snuggles

Matt, me, and the three kids (Matt considers Lily one of the kids :) ) had some major cuddle action going on yesterday-one of my favorite things to do is snuggle with the kids

Camera Crazy

I went completely crazy with the camera the last couple of days.  It was really starting to annoy Matthew to the point where he would hide under blankets when he saw me get the camera out.  Other times he would ask me to take a picture of him and would do silly things for me.  Matthew has a ton of cars that he loves to line up in the hallway and then push them to the gate.  Sometimes he will let Meredith play with the cars too, under his careful eye of course.  There are certain cars that are "extra special" that she isn't allowed to touch, according to Matthew anyway

Meredith tried so hard to knock down her Weeble Wobbles-she quickly realized that Weebles Wobble but they don't fall down :)

This was one of the times Matthew asked me to take pictures of him doing his silly dance

My two lovadoos

Matthew plays with legos like there is no tomorrow

When I go to get Merebear out of her crib she is always peeking through the slats waiting for me-it makes me smile everytime

I'm not sure what got into Matthew, but lately he has been extra nice to Meredith and has been great with sharing toys and playing with her.  He likes to show her how her toys work, by demonstration as well as a detailed lecture as to what is to be done or not done with the toy-too cute!

Craft time.  Matthew has an artistic side and likes to express it.  We played with molding clay, paint, crayons, and markers to create unique masterpieces.  Note: he decided to take his shirt of on his own, despite my reassurance that he could keep it on

He practices great focus and concentration.  He takes his work very seriously

He is in the zone.

He likes to make sure his supplies are lined up nice and straight

After all that hard work, he blew off some steam by slapping hit tummy like a gorilla

Merebear discoverd that her bus has wheels and now has fun rolling it on the floor

Book time.  She enjoys turning pages

Meredith has fun trying to get Matthew's bugs and giggles when she sees them scurry all over the place

Matthew is good at setting up his track in a bunch of different patterns

When all else fails, just give the kids bubble paper and newspaper ads-lol!

Buzz to the rescue

Like father like son.  Matthew gets so entranced when he is playing his VTech gaming system.  At least they are learning games...
