This is about the time of the year that we start going stir-crazy.  Spring can't come soon enough!  We are keeping ourselves busy (when we aren't house hunting) with various activites.  Thomas Trains are still a favorite of Matthew's and mine.

Matthew and Daddy built an igloo type structure in the snow.  Matthew had a blast poking it with a stick, of course according to him, he was "carving the walls".

Learning is FUN!

Before we left Raleigh, we were able to get in a visit to the Natural History Museum.  Matthew is at a great age where he wants to know all about everything and is fascinated by new stuff.  He really does ask some really good questions

Meredith's favorite thing was feeling the different animal skins.  She liked the skunk the best but was also curious about the squirrel skin

He would only touch the beetle after I did it first

The bees captivated him for awile.  He was thrilled to be able to watch them without having to worry about being stung

Thankfully I didn't have to touch the snakes first because I really do not like snakes

Two Loves in a Tub

More to the Hodge Podge

Meredith, or Mommy Leech as Grandpa nicknamed her, had fun crawling, or swimming again as Grandpa called it, all over the place

She especially loved to "swim" over to the dog's pen and "talk" to them

Matthew and Meredith decided that it would be fun to dig around Grammy's tupperwear cabinet.  They made a huge mess together, but it was too cute to get upset about

Matthew and I went to Jump Zone (the same type place as Monkey Joes's) and had some one-on-one time.  He was tired that day and unfortunately didn't want to stay long

Tim, or Mister Tim as Matthew called him, was great with Matthew.  Matthew caught on super quick that he was fun to play with and became attatched at the hip with him.

Great Grandpa is a Wii bowling champ (literally...he is on a team-too fun/cute :) ) and Matthew was thrilled to play with him. 

Second First Birthday Celebration

Meredith had a mini-birthday celebration this past weekend.  It's always fun to watch her eat more cake and make a huge mess of herself :)
