Our New House!!!!!!!

We are officially home owners!  SUPER YAY!  Our new home is located in the village of Baldwinsville.  It was built in 1887 but has been renovated inside and out, including a new roof and windows.  It's 2,188 square feet, 4 bedrooms, 1.5 bath with an unfinished basement.  The whole house has wood flooring, except for a room off the kitchen which we are going to make the kid's toy room and the sunroom off of the kitchen which both have new carpet, and the kitchen is tile.  There is a park with a basketball court, huge gazebo and awesome playground right through the gate in our back yard.  It is walking distance to the library, cute coffee shops, local restaurants, Matthew's school, fishing spots, among other places.

The back of the house.  There is an immaculately clean shed in the back that is perfect for lawn stuff/outside toys.  Not that we will need it, the garage is actually huge inside.

Matt calls this room his man cave.  He is going to put the big TV above the fire place (it's fully insulated/heated) and plans on eventually building a small bar in the corner.

The view from the family room.  The stairs have a neat wrought iron railing and brand new carpet.  The door frames and windows have the old fashioned crown molding around them.  The room on the left is the foyer and the half bath and laundry room is through the door on the right.

I love my new kitchen-lots of counter space for cooking/baking!  There is a little sun room to the left that I plan on turning into an arts and crafts room for the kiddos.  The man cave is through the door in the back corner

Matt and I just love this house!  It has everything we were looking for and then some.  Matthew is excited to have his own room.  Again, Yay for us :)
