Matthew and I really love baking and cooking and we discovered that Laura does too, so of course we had to make a cake! I let the kids do everything (well, I did the oven parts and egg parts) and just sat back and let them make a complete mess while having a blast in the process. The icing of the cake was a little messier than it could have been due to the fact that we were running out of time so we had to do the icing before the cake had cooled down enough, but the kids didn't mind and it still tasted scrumptious :)
