A little known and slightly embarrassing fact about me: until about two weeks ago, I had been completely unable to tie a balloon. No matter how much instruction nor the amount of practice, the balloon had always gotten the better of me. Ha, in your face balloons of the world! For the sake of my son who wanted nothing more than to throw a water balloon, I tried and tried until I finally figured it out-much to Matthew's and my great excitement. So, today I literally filled and tied at least 50 water balloons for Laura and Matthew to go hog-wild with; it was a wildly enjoyable time for everyone :)
