There has been great weather for 99% of the family visit-thankfully-so one sunny, hot day we loaded into the RV and drove up to Brittney and Aykut's pool to cool off. Even though it was only like a 25 minute drive, it was fun to all be together in the same vehicle and laugh, play cards, and enjoy each other's company
The kids, Matt, and I claimed the bed to lounge in, which worked out perfectly as Meredith and Matthew thought it was great to roll around on the bed while we were moving
Of course Matthew and Meredith were anxious to jump right into the water. Matthew had is safety buddy, Papa, and Meredith had her fun floaty and Daddy.
Papa showed Matthew how easy it was to jump of the diving board, however Matthew fervently declined the offer of Papa to catch him when he jumped off himself
Meredith spent well over an hour just chillin' in the water. She absolutely loved to float around in the water and be a part of all the action
Jason kept the ladies company before he had to run off to the airport
It really does stink that we don't get to spend as much time together as we would wish. At least we make the best of the moments we get :)
Matthew discovered that he could touch the bottom and still have his head above the water, which was a very neat/proud experience for him as well as for me
Meredith and Shannon splashed around the water, laughed and had a super fun time
The whole gang, minus Aykut who unfortunately had to work. We hope we get to see everyone sooner rather than later!
