Papa and Nana found the coolest toy for $1 at a garage sale-an electronic project kit from 1982 in mint condition! Matthew (and I) LOVE IT! There's a book that has 160 different projects one can try to make different things happen, everything from turning on a light bulb; making sound effects such as a cat, motorcycle, patrol car siren; making a solar powered light machine or a sonic fish caller; to a high voltage generator, a coin battery audio oscillator, a two transistor radio, solar telemetry, AC voltmeter, to a burglar alarm with a latching relay...the list goes on and on! We have made a Grandfather Clock sound effect that stops for a moment when you yell into the speaker and a machine gun pulse oscillator (it was the first one he happened to open up to and wanted to try) What a neat way for Matthew to learn about circuits!
