Lights On The Lake

Unfortunately we were unable to attend the opening night of Lights on the Lake, which was the only time you were able to walk-thru the bright, Winter Wonderland-bummer.  Oh well...at least we stayed warm tonight driving thru with the kids.  I have to admit, I miss the days when something so simple as Christmas lights could plaster a huge smile on my face and evoke true-from-the-belly-laughter.  Seeing Matthew and Meredith's joy did bring an overwhelming bounty of joy to my heart :)

Driving into the lights-Matthew is in a don't-take-my-picture phase

The plus side of driving, besides the obvious warmth factor= we were able to see the entire two-mile spectacular.  Matthew instructed the picture-taking to make sure we captured his favorites-like the one of the two fish kissing

The fisherman who caught a stocking instead of a fish evoked belly-hurting laughter
