School Christmas Program

Last week Matthew's school put on an adorable Christmas program.  The preschoolers came out first and sang a few Christmas songs, such as Jingle Bells.  (Matthew is in the back row, fourth from the right)

Meredith proudly watched her brother sing

The preschoolers left while the older kids put on a musical story of the birth of Jesus.  Towards the end, they were brought back out as shepards to join in for the final songs

He is the third from the left

The whole production was really enjoyable.  They started practicing over a month ago and Matthew would not sing his songs for me, however I would catch him humming them to himself on quite a few occasions (second shepard from the left)

We met the kids back at their classrooms, and as they were coming down the stairs his teacher was praising them on their great performance, and Matthew chimed in "yeah, but it made my legs tired to stand up on stage" haha

Who knows....you may see him on the big screen one day ;)

They enjoyed the after-party, complete with juice and cupcakes
