Much to Matthew's delight, it snowed while we were in Raleigh. A full 5-6 inches fell, thus causing a mass closing of most businesses throughout the area. The southerners (like Grammy and Grandpa) were thrilled to have a white winter wonderland, even if only for a few days. (It's forecasted to be in the 60's by January 1st) Matthew and Grandpa got right out there to shovel the driveway and sidewalk. After their hard work they built a snowman and then warmed up inside with chocolate milk while watching The Polar Express-the perfect Winter day
Unlike Lily who is completely used to the snow, Lexi hated every bit of the cold, wet, icy ground
