Our Quick, But Super Fun, Ohio Trip

My Grandfather is turning the big 90, so what better way to celebrate his special day than by coming together and having a party!  And, it also happened to be the weekend of New Year's Eve/Day.  We all arrived on either Thursday or Friday and it was great to see everyone and as always, it's so wonderful seeing all of the cousins playing.  Josh is as smart and polite as ever.

Josh also received a new DS for Christmas, so there were a lot of video games played this weekend.  Josh showed Grandpa and Madison some of the neat programs on his DS

Grammy and Grandpa! I was excited to see Matthew, as he had spent the week with my parents and we were reunited in Ohio.  As I walked to the door I envisioned the loving embrace Matthew and I would share, however when the door opened and Matthew saw it was me, he got grumpy and ran (literally, he ran as fast as he could) into the other room where he hid in a corner.  Hmmm....lovely.  I asked him what was up, and apparently he thought I was there to take him home immediately.  I reassured him that I was staying with him and everyone and he had plenty of time to play with the cousins.  I then got the hug I had envisioned.  Although, he still opted to spend the nights in the hotel with Grandpa instead of staying with me  :)

 Uncle James and Aunt Lori!

Cutie-pie Jordan gives the best hugs.  She is my little hugging-monster :)

Madison showed Meredith the bird, which Meredith thought was neat

Matthew and Jordan chatted with each other through their own DS-cute
