We were planning on coloring eggs at Van Buren park after the egg hunt, but we were so cold and damp that the kids opted to coloring eggs in the warmth of our home. We had a Star Wars coloring kit that came with a pair of 3D glasses that amused Matthew while we were boiling the eggs.

Although it tends to take longer when the eggs are checked every 10 seconds to see how "colored" they are becoming
Meredith was having a hard time with the egg scooper so she decided to just use her hands...thankfully we used non-staining dye
