My son is now five years old, hard to believe. He is having a birthday party with some friends from school this Saturday, so on his actual birthday we had a mini-family celebration, complete with all the usual traditions, such as the morning gift, a yummy meal of the birthday boy's choice, and some extra special attention. He was tickled when Matt came home from work because it meant he could open his gifts.
Thanks Aunt Ann! To ensure that he can also watch his favorite Star Wars characters in action, he can watch the original Trilogy on DVD-Thanks bunches Aunt Lori, Uncle James, Josh and Jordan!
He totally digs the Lego table. Thank you Grammy and Grandpa :)
The day wouldn't be complete without a cake (or rather, a birthday cupcake)
The celebration will continue with Nana, Papa, Great Nana, Brittney, Aykut, and his friends at his party this weekend-which we are all super psyched for

Tell Matthew I enjoyed video chatting with him (and Meredith) and would love to make it a positive habit!
