Matthew's First Off-Road Ride

Matt took Matthew to Great Bear to ride the trails for his very first off-road bike ride.  Matthew is hooked already :)

Happy 28th Birthday Brittney!

As an added bonus, Aykut's family were able to celebrate Brittney's birthday with everyone this year; and what a great celebration it was!  Matthew and Meredith ran around with Eda all evening having the time of their lives and the mood of the evening was joyous and fun

Dilek is so sweet, nice, and easy to get along with.  Brittney is blessed to have such a wonderful sister-in law (well, officially she'll be sis-in-law in a 6 days, but whose counting?)

St. Marks Lutheran Church Vacation Bible School

This week Matthew participated in St. Mark's VBS and had a ton of fun.  Their theme 'Welcome to the Jungle' and their crafts were neat and imaginative.  For their final day, all the kids wore the shirt they made the day before

The last day the kids put on a performance consisting of a few songs and a slide show of pics from the week

Throughout the week the kids were asked to bring in items of food for a local pantry.  They took a tally every day, the last day being the big grand finale with 67 items, making a total of 133 items for the local shelter-woo hoo! Always a great thing to help those in need

As a yummy ending to an adventurous week, ice cream and cookies for everyone!  :) 

Elden Elementary Playground

Matthew is all aflutter about starting kindergarten this Fall, 'gasp', kindergarten!  I decided to take him to his school's playground today to check it out and play around with Meredith.  There are lots of neat features on the equipment that the kids explored

Merebear's hair is getting so long; it's gorgeous just like her :)
