Matthew, Meredith and I started a new Halloween tradition of baking cupcakes and then decorating them like spooky monsters.  Definitely a tradition that we will carry on next year 

Local Halloween Bash

The kids and I attended a local Halloween bash for the kids in the area and had a frighteningly awesome time.  Meredith, little miss belly dancer, and Bounty Hunter Matthew rocked the games and gathered enough candy for a good start to their Halloween candy stash

Practice Pumpkin Carving

Matthew came home from school psyched about the pumpkin his class carved together and wanted to practice carving a little one on his own before we carve big pumpkins as a family this weekend.  He got the pumpkin opened by himself and practiced scooping out the guts.  He didn't really get to carve a face on it as there wasn't much left of it after he was done with it, but he didn't mind 

The Last Soccer Game Till Spring

This past cold, rainy Saturday the Red Ghosts had their last soccer game until the Spring.  First were the team and solo pictures, then the intense game began.  The other team put up quite a battle, but in the end Matthew's team won (technically, they don't keep score.  However, for fun, the assistant coach kept score and informed us that our team was the champion. )  Matthew played his little heart out on the muddy fields, I was so proud of him :)
