Matthew's kindergarten class had their holiday party today, Polar Express themed, and I was fortunate enough to be able to be a volunteer for the event. They started the class off with story time consisting of The Polar Express book. Then it was time to get their tickets punched so they could move from center to center. And, they got to wear their pajamas to school for this fun day
Matthew was aflutter about me being in his class which made my heart grow. I thoroughly enjoy being able to partake in these types of school events with Matthew. The centers consisted of decorating cookies, cutting and decorating stockings, a Polar Express time-line activity, and a snowflake craft that included glue and glitter.
