It was superb to spend New Year's Eve in Raleigh this year. I thoroughly enjoy celebrating in the traditional way that we did the whole time I was growing up. We make the same yummy food, watch movies, enjoy each other's company, and just have a great family time. Meredith and Matthew were up for some of the night but were fast asleep when we officially rang in the New Year (although, we did take Matthew outside with a noise maker before he went off to bed) Julie and her boyfriend Ez even spend some of the evening with everyone
