Keeping with tradition, Matt, the kids, and I went to the annual Easter Egg hunt at Van Buren park. The event was comprised of an egg hunt containing a whopping 1600 eggs, the Easter Bunny, and egg coloring. It was a great way to kick off Easter weekend
After three attempts and the bunny procuring a basket of candy, Meredith deemed the Easter Bunny friendly enough to approach even though her brother still wanted nothing to do with him-lol
They each grabbed up lots of eggs with yummy candy
Afterwards, we met up with their friends Karstyn and Kaden for some egg coloring fun
At home they carefully inspected their loot (the stick is being used as a divide to make sure their candy didn't mix....kids! lol)
