Birthday Snack

Grammy was in town for lots of fun family events, like Matthew bringing in a birthday snack to his class.  He chose brownies and ice cream (which he had been talking about bringing for months lol).    He was delighted to show Grammy his classroom and meet his teacher and friends.  

Paige's First Bath

Paige's belly button cord stump fell off the day before Grammy arrived, so she was able to be here and assist in Paige's first bath.  Paige was content with being a dirty baby (lol) as you can tell from her look in Grammy's arms, but it was time to give her a fresh, clean smell :)  Matthew and Meredith even helped to wash their little sister

Grammy's Visit!

Grammy spent a week spending time with us and meeting her newest granddaughter, Paige.  I must say, Grammy still has the magic touch when it comes to her grand-babies :)  Paige and Grammy had lots of snuggle time with each other and Matthew and Meredith also had lots of play time with their awesome Grammy.  An added bonus, my mom arrived on Mother's day!  I was thrilled to be with her on that special day and tell her how much she means to me and what a great mom/grandmother she is.  We went to Nana and Papa's house for a cook-out to help celebrate the day.

Paige's Quilt

Grammy really outdid herself with Paige's quilt!  She did an absolutely incredible job making it; Paige loves it and will get tons of use out of it, thinking of Grammy every time.  Thanks Mom for making such a special gift for your newest granddaughter :)

Spring Soccer

Matthew is driven and focused so much more this Spring when it comes to soccer.   He might have  found his "thing"!  He enjoys practice and the games and even scored his first goal during a game .  He has a great arm and is the best on his team at throwing in the ball from the sidelines.  He has fun assisting his teammates during the games and when he is not playing during a game he waits anxiously to get back in and play.  Meredith and Paige are great cheerleaders for their big brother ;)  He has jersey number 8.

Paige 3 Weeks Old

Happy 6th Birthday Matthew

My Matthew turned 6!  Grammy was in town to help celebrate the momentous occasion and he had two of his friends, Karstyn and Kaden over as well.  He woke up and opened the traditional birthday morning gift then it was off to a soccer game with Grammy on the sidelines to cheer him on-bonus!
