Herkimer Camping Part 2

It was warm enough during the day for the kids to play around in the river that was behind the campground.  They had fun splashing around and walking on the walks

Camping In Herkimer, NY-Part 1

Last weekend the kids, Matt and I went camping with Nana and Papa to a KOA in Herkimer, NY.  The campgrounds were super family friendly complete with a playground, swimming pool, and tons of other kids.  Matthew made friends quickly as he does everywhere we go

It was relaxing to sit by the fire in the evenings, although it was a little too cold at night for me.

Matthew and Meredith have their own bunks (Meredith's is below Matthew's) and they each have their own TV and DVD player.  We like to rough it in style ;)

Paige 4 Months Old

Little Paige Marie is four months old today.  She weights 9 lbs 4 oz and is 24 inches long, so she is tall and thin.  She is rolling over mainly back to stomach but has done stomach to back.  She laughed for the first time yesterday and gives me lots of smiles.  She is still waking up a couple times each night and loves loves loves to be in Mommy's arms.  Matthew and Meredith are completely taken by her and are great older siblings.

The Herkimer Diamond Minds

While spending the weekend camping in Herkimer, NY the kids, Papa, Matt and I checked out the diamond mines across the street from our campground.  We discovered that "Herkimer Diamonds" were actually really nice quartz crystals, but it was still fun to mine for them
